Anthony DeMartinis is a solo and collaborative percussionist and educator based in Madison, Wisconsin. He completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Michigan where his primary teachers were Joseph Gramley and Jonathan Ovalle. Anthony was a featured performer with the U-M Symphony Band, has performed chamber music alongside members of the New York Philharmonic percussion section, and has given performances at the AlamoDome in San Antonio, Millennium Park in Chicago, and at concert halls in Spain, Argentina, and Uruguay. When he is not teaching or performing, Anthony enjoys hiking, reading, and playing with his dog, Ruby.
