As an interdisciplinary artist grounded in trumpet performance, Anne Amen presents curated musical experiences designed to draw elements of visual art, storytelling, and dance into the recital hall.

Anne has performed as an orchestral, band, solo, and chamber musician, most recently with the Eastern Music Festival Orchestra and the UW–Madison Symphony Orchestra. She has presented solos in collaboration with the St. Olaf Band and the St. Olaf Norseman Band. She was an artist-in-residence at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Summer Music Festival, where she worked with trumpet students to listen deeply, develop technically, and seek stories within their music.

Anne holds a Bachelor of Music degree in trumpet performance from St. Olaf College and is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison under the tutelage of Professor Jean Laurenz. She has previously studied with Martin Hodel, Judith Saxton, Garrett Klein, and Manny Laureano.
