Alexis Roelke is currently in the second year of her master’s degree in Flute Performance and is studying with Dr. Conor Nelson. She completed her Bachelors Degree in Flute Performance at Iowa State where she studied with Dr. Sonja Giles. Alexis has played in master classes with Demarre McGill, Dora Seres, Brandon Patrick George, and Anthony Trionfo. She has played concerts across England, Scotland, and Ireland, as well as Carnegie Hall in New York. Alexis prides herself on her accessibility and advocacy work as a musician with severe hearing loss and hopes to continue to build resources for disabled musicians throughout her career.
