Join us for a concert showcasing the talented musicians championing the future of classical music. The UW–Madison graduate orchestral conducting students will begin the first half of the concert as they each conduct a piece with the orchestra. In the second half, the beautiful colors and hypnotic rhythms of Angélica Negrón’s Tornasol will be the perfect contrast to Tchaikovsky’s brilliant and timeless violin concerto, featuring 2023 UW–Madison Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition winner, Zak Chen.
