Adina Shaikh is a senior pursuing a B.S. in neurobiology and percussion performance with a certificate in science communication. She is also a member of the First Wave Hip Hop and Urban Arts Scholarship Program where she produces music and visual arts projects highlighting important social issues.

Inspired by the tabla from her Pakistani roots, Adina began playing percussion in middle school and has enjoyed learning music from various cultures. Outside of music, Adina is a researcher in a zebrafish lab and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal for Undergraduate Science and Technology.
