Zachary George is an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, studying music with a focus in clarinet performance and mathematics. Growing up in the northwest Chicago suburbs, he spent 5 years as a member of the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra and was a four-time selectee of the Illinois Music Educators Association District 7 band.
He has worked in masterclasses with clarinetists such as Boris Allakhverdyan and Ayako Oshima, and is now going into his final year of his undergrad as a student under Alicia Lee. He is looking forward to continuing his studies in music in graduate school.
