Riley Smith is a classical guitarist and educator from Michigan. He developed an early passion for the instrument under the guidance of Dr. Brad DeRoche. Riley holds two degrees in classical guitar performance: a Bachelor of Fine Arts (2020) from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where he studied with René Izquierdo, and a Master of Music (2022) from Columbus State University under Dr. Andrew Zohn. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in guitar performance at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, studying with Javier Calderon.
Riley maintains an active teaching career through both private instruction and work at professional institutions.
