Marty Beller
Marty Beller, Grammy Award–winning composer and longtime drummer for the iconic alt-rock band They Might Be Giants, brings students inside the world of a professional musician whose career moves seamlessly between recording, touring, and scoring for the screen—on stage, in the studio, and in the creative spaces where projects come to life.
The School of Music Career Chat Series introduces students to professionals who have taken multifaceted routes to success in the music industry. Each session features a candid conversation with a guest artist, where students will get the chance to ask questions directly, hear behind-the-scenes stories, and gain insight into the many ways a music career can unfold.
