Originally from West Virginia, Willey Lee is a versatile musician with a drive to connect people of all ages to the musical arts. As a high school student, he performed on NPRs “A Prairie Home Companion” during the 2012 Interlochen Arts Camp, and as an undergraduate student, he performed with the Wheaton College Symphonic Orchestra as the winner of the 2014 Keyboard Concerto Competition. Having attended Florida State University on a collaborative piano graduate assistantship, Willey excels in working synergistically with other visionary artists.

A passionate pedagogue, Willey has taught piano at the Yamaha School of Music in Wheaton, as well as the Pui Tak School in Chicago. Studying under Christopher Taylor, Willey currently serves as a Teaching Assistant for Class Piano 101 in the University of Wisconsin-Madison.​

Willey Lee holds a BM in Piano Performance from Wheaton College, where he studied with Karin Edwards, as well as an MM in Piano Performance from Florida State University, where he studied under Heidi Williams. As an undergraduate student, Willey performed with the Wheaton College Symphonic Orchestra as the winner of the 2014 Keyboard Concerto Competition. In the summers of 2021-2022, he served as the Assistant Pianist in the Adirondack Performing Arts Fellowship program, an elite music program that employs and prepares elite artists to perform classical, Broadway, and jazz music in professional settings.
