Ryan Christianson is a current DMA trombone student at UW–Madison. Additionally, he holds the position of Instructor of Trombone at Millikin University in Decatur, IL and is the principal trombonist of the Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra. Prior to his appointment at Millikin, Ryan held positions as the principal trombone of the Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra and with the internationally-touring brass quintet, the Dallas Brass. Ryan also maintains a freelance career in Chicago as a classical, commercial, and jazz trombonist, and performs with first-call musicians in each of those fields.
