Collaborative pianist Aubrie Jacobson earned her bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Viterbo University, a master’s degree in collaborative piano from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is now pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in the same field. Currently an Accompanying Teaching Assistant at UW-Madison and Music Assistant for Madison Opera, Aubrie previously worked within the university’s opera department, assisting with music preparation and performance for large-scale productions and opera scenes. An admirer of music by living composers, Aubrie recently collaborated on a recording of Love Drunk: Folk Songs Set 16b for Violin and Piano by Reza Vali and participated in Source Song Festival’s 2021 MNDuo Program.
