Linda Kimball is artist-in-residence with the Wingra Quintet, succeeding Nancy Becknell as hornist. Also instructor at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, Ms. Kimball is principal horn with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra and a member of the Madison Symphony Orchestra. She has performed as soloist with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra and has played with the Whitewater Brass Quintet since its inception in 1983. She is also a founding member of the Artemis Horn Quartet, with which she has performed at International Horn Society workshops and on Wisconsin Public Radio broadcast recitals.
