FROM SOLID FOUNDATION TO STANDING OVATION
Today, the Humanities Building reverberates with the sounds of students, faculty and staff teaching, studying, practicing and performing music.
Today, the School, currently ranked in the top 5 percent of public schools of music in the United States, is solidifying its reputation for excellence.
Today, in Morphy Hall and Mills Hall, audiences gather to applaud music from all genres.
Today, the School of Music is the state’s largest provider of music performances outside Milwaukee, presenting 300-plus, mostly free concerts every year.
Today, however, the School’s facilities are out-of-date and out-of-tune with the talents and ambitions of students, faculty and staff, and the expectations of audiences, alumni, parents and friends.
With a solid foundation and a clear vision...
